JoshNC
One of my biggest peeves is when sellers with clip-on RR HK MGs include lots of photos but fail to include a photo of the semiauto HK receiver shelf. There are a handful of well known dealers over the years who do it. And some smaller ones too. It has to be purposeful. Is anyone else bothered by this? MPFiveO
It's pretty simple to contact the seller and verify whether it's a clip on or push pin. It's only a big deal if you're in the market for one. The odds of finding a push pin at a clip on price are astronomically low. So, many times that's the clue that's needed. But, yes, pics are nice, however, if it bothers you enough to contact the seller then the ad worked. Now he'll find something to sell you that you weren't looking for and didn't know you needed. johnsonlmg41
I've never seen anyone sell a PP without boldly pointing it out in the ad. If it's not in the ad, the assumption is that it has a shelf. These days I'd rather have a shelf, since it's compatible with most of the stuff I own and easier to swap stuff out, and if not, it's only a half hour to "fix" the trigger group. The shelf is actually a faster and sturdier design i.e. HK21e.
JoshNC
I agree @johnsonlmg41, a discerning buyer can spot a pushpin vs a shelf. It’s just the fact that some sellers seem to purposefully omit the details. There will be a dozen photos detailing insignificant things, while a photo of the shelf is omitted. Maybe hoping for an uninformed buyer
