IMR7828 Posted June 26 Report Share Posted June 26 (edited) I currently have a near flawless set of original Colt 601 black painted bakelite furniture that I'm looking to trade for a green set of furniture. This is a very nice and early set with a Type A black paint over brown bakelite stock, and black paint over green painted brown bakelite handguards and pistol grip. These were what was original used on early PD guns sold by Colt in the first year or two of production. The stock is also interesting as it has a Sauk County Sheriff label on the side showing it was a from a former PD gun. I have a higher serial number transferable Colt 601 that I'm looking to put a green painted set of furniture on, so I would like to trade this set for another. I'm also willing to add a little on my end for the trade. Not willing to sell outright whatsoever.
