Match 10\22 bolt with Anti-Bounce Modification.

If you don't mind a completely stupid question, what is the advantage to an anti bounce on a semi auto?  I really don't know.  I wouldn't mind a spare one of these if it worked with my Norrell, but as semi auto only, I just don't understand.

The bolt I am making are for Match speed guns . Just like the full auto gun by Norell bolt bounce is an issue and can cause light strikes and accuracy issues . But if you have a full auto 10/22 you can see the hard part is done the only remaining mod to make them for a Norrel is the bolt close notch. This bolt would be for match speed shooters and FRT owners as is  .

These are currently in the production and testing phase. I plan to limit this initial run to a maximum of 50 bolts—the majority being Match-grade, along with a few standard factory 10/22 bolts.

Please note that I am not operating a commercial bolt-modification business; I simply decided to utilize some machine downtime. While I may consider a larger run if there is substantial demand, I am strictly limiting production for the time being.

Currently, only one other manufacturer offers an anti-bounce feature, and those are built for a very specific full-auto pack. A portion of this batch is already reserved for my personal rifles and close friends, but I have listed one completed unit on Guns International to gauge broader market interest. For reference, I have an identical bolt in my own firearm that has successfully cycled 5,000 rounds through both semi-auto and FRT testing

After an additional 600+ rounds fired using the Mars trigger, I have observed a significant difference in both reliability and cyclic speed after switching from the factory bolt to my aftermarket bolt. The aftermarket bolt is operating at a noticeably slower cycle rate, and I am still evaluating the cause of this change.

I have tested multiple magazine types throughout this round count. Across three Ruger BX‑25 magazines,and and adjustable TAC INOVATION MAGS. I experienced not to many failure to feed and sevral dud cartridges. Ammunition used during testing included CCI Mini‑Mag and Cascade 50‑grain subsonic. Despite the mixed ammunition and extended firing schedule, the bolt continues to function as expected.

To date, the only maintenance performed has been chamber cleaning using a 90‑degree bent brush and periodic lubrication. Even with minimal cleaning, the system has not exhibited abnormal failures. My goal is to continue running the bolt until a functional failure occurs. Once the bolt reaches that point, I will disassemble it for inspection and document the internal condition with photographs.
