donwest Posted May 31 Report Share Posted May 31 I have for sale one Japanese Type 99 LMG barrel in .308 (7.62 NATO) chambering. Made from a Izzy 7.62 caliber 1919 Browning barrel w/chrome lined bore. The surface is contoured, machined with cooling fins similar to the original barrels. Muzzle is threaded for Japanese flash hider. Barrel is cut for your original Japanese carry handle. The front sight/gas block and selector are new made, copies of original. The rear section of the barrel has a sleeve added to bring the diameter up to the original Japanese dimension, and the sleeve is fabricated/machined from 4140 chrome-moly steel. The barrels comes with a set of head space shims to set to your receiver. This barrel has been head spaced to my gun and test fired 100 rds by me to assure functionality. $2600 plus shipping cost from Boise, ID to your destination.
