dherman304
Im not looking for any reassurace or to pick a fight, I genuinly want to know. I have bought and built about a dozen parts kits from individuals on forums like this and others (as well as from companies) and they have always had all the parts I was expecting. I recently bought my most expensive kit yet (from this forum), and even though it was listed as a complete kit with all parts, it was missing several items. When I checked with the seller, they said this is common of parts kit. As I mentioned before, this has not been my experience. So before I dive deeper into this hobby with my mill, lathe, and welder, is it common to buy a multi thousand-dollar kit and it to be missing items? eMGunslinger
Did he send you pictures of the kit and you saw everything that was included with the "complete" parts kit?
Aaron in Mohnton Pa
If I purchased a parts kit and it was missing parts that it was advertised to include, I would take issue with that. I also sell a lot of parts kits. Every kit includes everything it is advertised to include. Each one is checked to ensure it has all the components. 59corvette
If the parts are pictured in the ad, then I expect to receive them. If the ad specifically states it may be missing some small parts like pins or springs then that’s acceptable. I have bought some parts kits from APEX. and received them with missing parts and they have ALWAYS replaced the missing parts. They have OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
