Navgunner
I see that there's a different STEN silencer option currently available for customers here on STURM and it looks wonderfully made; please also consider this person's can too. Based on my personal review of their FS post their STEN suppressor looks very close to an original STEN silencer which is awesome. My NAVGUNNER cans are a different option (description below) which may appeal to different customer. I appreciate your consideration and I'm sure that @nathan wolanyk would too. Thank you. These are new production dedicated STEN (MK 2) SMG silencers made by NAVGUNNER. Each kit comes with a "Speed Bolt" for more reliability while shooting suppressed. These are reduced mass, surplus bolts with fresh springs and extractors. This was a small production run so supply is limited. Purchase at https://navgunner.com/navgunner-llc/ols/products/sw76-slash-mk760-silencer-made-by-navgunner 5.25"ported barrel is included. We cut down new production barrels and add ports just forward of the chamber to slow standard velocity 124g ammunition to subsonic. This keeps the firearm running reliably and makes for quiet shooting. Low pressure design equals much less blowback in your face. Package includes a Moonlight Industries "HotBox XL". This is a Heat resistant pouch made of carbon, Kevlar thread, and brass zipper that's made for storage/transport but also serves as a mitt for removing a hot suppressor from the SMG. This is a $50.00 value. Length 10.5" OD 1.5" Weight is 27.5 oz The standard configuration (Model "MK2 S") has a steel body with parkerized finish to resemble the look and feel of the original guns. As an added benefit, these suppressors are also compatible with the S&W76 /MK760 (if you purchase an adapter/barrel kit, call for details). This is a NFA item which is not legal in every state. You must have your transferring FFL/SOT dealer ready to provide us with their license prior to purchase. Please note that our sales price dose not include any of their fees. KickStand
Below are two short videos (combined into one) of NavGunner’s Integral Sten Suppressor, paired with a lightened bolt and ported barrel (Trifecta). My personal opinion, a lightened bolt is essential for a ported integral Sten setup. Especially considering, the original MKII(S) models also utilized lightened bolts (IMO, runaways could be an issue, if you use a heavy bolt). This footage is from some initial testing, so it’s limited (most testing was done off camera). For reference, I was using 115gr ammunition in both of the vids, and the S&B loads run noticeably hot. I’ll be posting additional videos within the next week or two. Edited March 26 by KickStand Added vid. 1
