North Idaho Freedom Posted March 19 Report Share Posted March 19 Hi Guys, I need some opinions. I have never had this happen before in all the hundred or so purchases off the gun boards. I purchased and paid for an item on Feb 24th. Its going on 23 days tomorrow and I have no purchased product on hand. I did get a text 3 days after payment stating it would go out two days later. Then on March 13th 2 weeks later I get a reply after I stated I am going to mention this on all the firearm boards. Then seller ask for more time. He says he doesnt want to ruin hi rep on here but has no posts. I know. I should have checked this out first. johnsonlmg41 Posted March 19 Report Share Posted March 19 Well before 23 days you post the sellers screen name and ask for help if anyone knows him and can prime the pump for you, or hope that he gets his mind right and ships. After a few more days you need to out him by name and depending on the price/item you need to chase after your stuff or money. Even if you get nothing, you've helped others in the community steer clear. I did a deal with a guy who posts a bunch of stuff here and he is one lazy MO-FO and took 2+ weeks to ship. While I won't deal with him again, I will out him if anyone asks for a reference on him. People run into issues all the time, but if it can't be solved in a week or two you've gone way past patient. Years ago I had a guy I sent money to and a couple days later he got incarcerated and apparently didn't see it coming? I sort of wrote that off, but a year or two later when he got out, I ended up getting my item. You just never know, but communication is essential. Did he send photos of the product he was selling? Usually you can reverse image search and see if they stole the photos off the internet. Its on me because I bought allot a items and never had someone take my funds then stall on communication. Even if the dude comes through some day which I doubt he cant blame me for feeling like I got scammed and for putting our conversation,texts,emails, zelle info on all the dozens of boards I am on.
