WTS: Thompson Submachine Gun Parts (Various)

Hi, I have been selling off my Thompson Collection for the last few months now and just pulled out some more items to list. In this ad I am selling some Colt and WW2 Thompson SMG parts, some for collecting with original tags and others for use, if you want photos just send an email with the number listed at the beginning of the description and your email and I will get them to you right away.

1) WW2 Early 1928 Thompson SMG Buttstock Slide Assembly (Early Savage Era numbered 1496) in excellent almost NOS condition, retains about 99% of the original polished blue finish and is complete but has no spring or attaching screws. It is a very early numbered one that was made and used in early 1940 when the buttstock and metal for each was numbered for re-assembly when all finished. Each part was fitted to the buttstock and when they cam back from getting the blued finish the person would reassembly them with all matching numbers. This practice was a carry over from the first Colt Thompson's and lasted for a short period in 1940 only  (it is figured about the first 15 000 gun made - we think not certain but a short number of them). It is ready to be installed.  $145.00  (80)

2) 1921 Colt Thompson SMG Buffer Body less the pin that went into it and had the tail end sticking out the back of the receiver, in very good used condition including the original buffer pads inside. The pin can be machined new and if finished at the same time as the body would look perfect, good to have a spare available.  $125.00  (97)

3) 1921/8 Colt Thompson SMG Buffer Pilot in excellent used condition, this is made of the nickeled steel and has no hole in the shaft for the tool to install (to hold the recoil spring) like the WW2 versions, it also is unmarked.  $285.00  (67)

4) All Models of Thompson Large Buttplate Screw with Original Tag (came out of a master box of screws) Very nice part to use or to put in a display if wanted, to me it is a collectible as opposed to using it but it is up to the buyer, if they need a good screw for their gun, here is a perfect NOS one.  $25.00  (84)

5) M1 / M1A1 Thompson SMG Front Sight Pin with tag in perfect NOS condition (came out of a master box of pins), just like the above part perfect to use if you need one but a nice item to display as a collectible.  $20.00  (10)
