GAKilo
This Penn Arms PG5 40mm less lethal grenade launcher is very seldom seen on the civilian market - this is the ONLY pump action police trade in launchers that we have been able to source or seen on the market. This 40mm launcher is fully transferable to civilians but not sold outside of military/LE channels and thus rarely ever seen on the civilian market. This is a USED police trade in launcher, tested and believed to be functional, but sold AS IS. This is in stock and will transfer on a eForm 3 upon clearance of payment. Used by a major metropolitan police department, this example still retains the property tags (partially obscured in pictures, but will be known to purchaser). This USED launcher shows the expected light surface rust, mainly on small screws as is common to PD trade in launchers. There is finish wear as seen in the pictures, along with tape residue on the bottom of the grip which can likely be cleaned off, as well as a taped VFG on the pump mechanism. The pump mechanism grip is slightly loose but should be tightenable with the correct size Allen wrench (not yet attempted). Most noticeable, the filler between the seams of the cylinder is missing or loose between every cylinder as is extensively documented in the pictures, however, the actual metal welds between cylinder appear to be solid. While believed to be functional, this is sold AS IS and should be inspected by a gunsmith before firing. Purchaser assumes all risk of use. Priced at $5,200 shipped with overnight shipping with payment via bank wire transfer (preferred) or certified check. We can also accept cards on this for +3.5%. Blemishes aside, this is a rare chance to own a launcher not typically available to civilians and used by a major US police department. What is the transfer process? This 40mm launcher is classified as a destructive device, and will transfer on a Form 4 to you with payment of the $200 tax stamp. If you are in AL, we can transfer this to you at our Huntsville location or ship to a dealer near you. The ATF allows any FFL with SOT to transfer a limited number of destructive devices each year but not all know this or feel comfortable doing so. We will work with the purchaser to find a dealer in your state willing to transfer the launcher to you. What do I shoot in these? Common loads are 40mm chalk rounds, smoke rounds, foam impact rounds, and "beehive" inserts allowing up to 18 rounds of 22 LR to be fired at one time, or 4 rounds of .410 gauge. Yes, chalk rounds are still legal! The chalk round without the .38 S&W blank installed is an inert, unregulated item and the blank is shipped the same as normal ammo. You are legally allowed to insert the blank and then fire the round, the same as mixing a binary explosive like Tannerite. Once the blank is inserted, the round needs to be fired - it cannot be transported or stored like this. We are able to source chalk rounds, smoke rounds, and foam impact rounds for the purchaser. Sales Tax We have locations in Georgia and Alabama, and must collect 6% sales tax on all sales to Georgia residents and 9% sales tax on all sales to Alabama residents.
