Where to do a DD transfer in NH.

I’m in New Hampshire and won a registered DD 40mm on gunbroker. I own a m203 and did what most people do and form 1’d that but for this new purchase I have no clue who to use and didn’t realize it would be so hard to find. I need to find a FFL 09 or 10 and there seems to be absolutely no options in the entire state that will do it. I know of a FFL 09 in Maine but correct me if im wrong, I couldn’t do the transfer there and then drive it home back to my resident state of NH.

Thanks in advance.

An 07 can legally transfer a very limited number of DDs per year.  The trick may be finding one who is willing to do it.

This. Have the seller transfer it to a willing 07/02 or 01/03 with a note saying there are no 9s or 10s available to do the transfer in the area.

this is the correct answer.

The FFL/SOT in your State (NH) must write a (signed) letter, requesting permission to handle the transfer, and the letter must mention that there are no DD dealers in the area that are willing to handle the transfer.

The letter should be attached (uploaded) when the seller submits the E-form 3 to transfer the DD to your local dealer.  There is a page on E-forms that allows for documents to be uploaded.

The OP is correct that they can NOT use an out of State (Maine) DD dealer for this transfer
