1fozziebear
Hey, need some suggestions on how to mark and identify magazines and accessories. I need to mark for easy identification by my wife or daughter what is what and what... it goes to. I have a decent collection so its not just storing stuff together. I use wire tags for the weapons but what about magazines or scopes, etc. I dont want to etch 100s of mags or use paint markers and Sharpies won't last. Suggestions?? Uncle Zeek
Might try nail polish. I've used that for some of my saltwater fishing rods & reels to ID them as mine on partyboats. Holds up pretty well but can be removed if needed. Edited January 13 by Uncle Zeek

Protato
Ammo bands or some other company's equivalent is what you're looking for. They're wide rubber bands that fit snuggly around your magazines with the caliber embossed and color filled to stand out.
Mustbeme
I ordered a bunch of 4mil plastic baggies from amazon. These are the heavy plain ziplocks unlike what you buy at the grocery store and they come in all sizes. I place a small card or hangtag inside the bag and or mark the baggy then place in a plastic bin also marked "parts for..." Also invest in a Brother or similar label maker I also have stuff like below sitting neatly on shelves.
SGT Fish
I use a p-touch label maker. They stick on nicely. Perfectly legible. And are removable by peeling off if needed. I label all my ammo cans and all my non-AR, non-glock magazines with what gun they go to, what ammo goes in them, and what capacity i usually load them to. I started labeling the mags after having some less experienced buddies helped me at events. They greatly appreciated all the labels as did I.
