AnchorTactical
I purchased a very rare factory Saco Lowell Shops 1919A6 curio and relic in September and I just sold it to a very good client of mine! The seller I purchased it from bought it from an estate in 2018. The back story the previous owner got was that the original owner brought it back from Vietnam and amnesty registered it in 1968. The old saying is buy the gun and not the story! I was determined to find out as much information about this gun as possible! I tried to do FOIA request with the ATF right away but the advised me that only the current registered owner can get that information. I decide to just wait until the form cleared to my FFL/SOT. During the transfer process I was able to speak to the examiner because they requested a photo of the side plate of the gun. I asked if they had information on when it was registered and if it was a Curio and Relic. To my surprise they confirmed that it was registered during the 1968 amnesty period and that it was in fact a C&R! If only guns could talk and this one could tell us its story!
