MP5
Does anyone know if the NFA Examiners processing eForms (transferable guns) are still “on duty” and working? Or maybe they are “working“, but it’s just taking longer now? Has anyone done one of these amidst the current gov’t shutdown, and can comment on how long it took? Recently - but before the shutdown - eForm 3’s for transferable guns were only taking 1-2 days, but I’ve got no idea what’s going on now... Bill in VA
They're still working. For most of the shutdown, to date, they weren’t working, but have now been back to work for about a week. No doubtthere’s a bit of a back,og, but they are approving forms again.
Uncle Zeek
They just went back to work on Monday 10/20. I had a pending eform 3 submitted on 10/3 that got approved on 10/22. They'll probably be caught up by the end of this week and back to normal efile times.
subgun24
Two of my incoming Form4 transfers just showed up on my eForms. Those were paper and mailed in 9/
