Jawoj_71
Recently pulled this from a pile of parts at an estate sale. It appears to be an AM-180 barrel with attached laser-lok device. I've never seen one of these devices before and made an account here to hopefully learn more about them. Would it be possible to find a charger for this to test if it works? Additionally, what kind of value would the barrel and laser have? Since I don't own an AM-180, I'd rather it go to a collector or enthusiast that would use it/appreciate it. Uncle Zeek
Well, one can buy brand new barrels from Val at E&L for something like $275, so the barrel itself probably doesn't have significant value. https://www.american180.com/am180/parts/index.html The He-Ne laser is certainly intriguing, can't say that I've ever seen one in person. johnsonlmg41
97% chance it does not work. I have one that works and a couple others that do not for various reasons. These are glass tube neon lasers with lead batteries. Many of the laser tubes are broken/ leaked, and the batteries are a whole nother' issue. It is a great retro item to have even if it does not function. Value is in the eye of the beholder, but it's one of the first laser equipped firearms on the market and represents where we were....not so long ago
