kaveman
These are the last of my pre-sample 'keepers'. These were 'forever' guns for me but after 20yrs it's time to let them go. I have no transferables left. The cupboard will soon be bare. Please read all the way to the bottom, particularly about the shipping schedule. I will be away(but available by email/text)for 6-8 weeks during the late September to early December time frame. If not shipped prior to leaving, the guns will ship immediately after my return, once approvals received of course. $2000 down starts paperwork, balance when ready to ship. Thanks! These are all verified Pre-Sample DEALER ONLY firearms, no law letter keepers that I've held here in storage for 20yrs+. Australian L2A1 Heavy Barrel w/Transit Chest full of Magazines,........$18,500 SOLD PENDING FUNDS Beretta AR70 w/Magazines and Spares,..........$18,500 SOLD PENDING FUNDS Steyr MPi69 w/Magazines and Spares,...........$10,500 SOLD PENDING FUNDS .L2A1,......Very nice condition Pre-Sample Australian L2A1 Heavy Barrel 7.62x51 NATO. All matching parts. Includes a full transit chest of 12 30rd magazines. Some light handling marks and creases in the wood but overall excellent condition. .AR70,......Excellent Pre-Sample Beretta AR70, all matching and near new. Rifle comes with spares and six excellent original 30rd magazines along with seven poorer finish 'range' mags. The spares include a spare barrel, bolt, hammer and gas system. Rifle is "papered" as an SC70. Don't know if that has significance, whether imported with folding stock or what. Receiver markings are simply 'P. Beretta Mod. 70/223'. As I received it in excellent/near new condition and possibly unfired. .MPi69,....Pre-Sample Steyr MPi69 in very good condition. All matching numbers but currently assembled to shoot with an excellent MPi81 barrel and bolt set. I've also got the gun set up with the superior MPi81 non-reciprocating charging handle and barrel nut w/sling ring. The MPi69 sling point cocking system is very bad and too cute by far. Cocking with the sling is unreliable and too much tension on the sling can interrupt firing. And it's apparently fragile,.....the gun came to me with a broken and poorly repaired sling cocking handle and it has since broken and been poorly repaired again. The MPi81 system is far superior and parts are drop-in replacements for the MPi69 parts. The gun will come assembled and firing with the MPi81 upgrades along with the original numbered barrel and bolt assembly with the original MPi69 barrel nut(as last fired at Richmond, IN SMG Shoot in 2004?). Includes 8 excellent original 32rd Steyr mags in a pouch. The MPi69/81 handles better than an Uzi, fires faster and shoots more smoothly. A three position push button crossbolt selector is located above the trigger. Fully left is "safe", fully right is progressive "auto",.....a short pull will release singles and a longer pull gets you the lot. The mid position is the "semi" position and just limits trigger travel to the shorter "semi" travel. Kevin Molden kaveman9@hotmail.com former "GUNROOM" La Porte, IN 46350 As I'm no longer current SOT(20yrs retired)all guns will have to go out on tax-paid paper form4. I just received a June approval after six weeks but things may be moving faster now following the Big Beautiful Bill. Now that so many transfers are awaiting the expiration of the tax for SBR/SBS/AOW/Suppressors coming January 1st I think NOW is the time to get these transfers started. The reason that's relevant is that I have a trip coming up later next month that is going to keep me away for anywhere from 6-8 weeks. If started now, there's at least a chance for four week approvals. (After the first of the year, forget about it). Missing this window means I won't be able to ship until possibly as late as early December. That being the case,.....I don't want to hold anyone's money with an uncertain delivery date. $2000 down will start immediate transfers and balance will only come due when I have approvals and am in position to ship,.......whether that's in one month, two months or three.
