mvguy44
For Sale: M1 57mm Anti-Tank gun is fully restored, great barrel on a Form 4 in NM. Barrel about 12 years ago to one with great rifling all the way to the end and nice smooth chamber. The gun and barrel have been stored indoor for several decades and taken out only for parades, shooting and salutes. I have lots of photos of shooting displays and loading procedures for ammunition. The gun was completely restored and is in excellent condition. Rebuilt recoil system and springs are all new. No recoil system leaks. Gun comes completely ready to shoot and tow in parades; includes tow rope, grease gun, new tires, tow light, muzzle cover, shell extractor, telescopic sight and case, and original cleaning rods and brushes. Barrel has sharp rifling and no pits or rust. Chamber same-nice. Four live rounds are owner-loaded and three blanks included in sale. NFA rules apply. Seller will pay first transfer to his Class 3 dealer ($200). Buyer pays for his transfer ($200) to his Form 4 from his Class 3 dealer. Transport can be arranged. Tows great. Additional projos and shell casings go with the gun. I have propellant I can sell to a buyer provided he gets a transfer FEL or has access to local magazine for storage. ATF regulates propellant for cannons when in bulk containers larger than 8#. I am ultimately selling my magazine and contents but will provide buyer enough propellant to load 100s of rounds. More is available with the above license. Additional projectiles are available. Complete WWII 57mm AT gun carriage with BATF licensed breech ring includes: Tow rope; Grease gun; Shell extractor; Telescope and mount attached; Original cleaning rods and straps; Cleaning brushes; Trail spike set for movement, with wheel mechanism; Firing lock mechanism to back of breech block; Manuals (copies or originals) from owner’s collection; Assortment of loading primer tubes and primer materials; Super Slow propellant for the projectiles/cases; All my shell casings for salutes; All my 57mm shell casings for shooting; Loading information slide show showing how I have done it. PM for additional info or chat.
