WTS: Suppressed De Lisle Commando Carbine in .45ACP by U.S. Armament Manufacturing Corp.

New in the Box Suppressed De Lisle Commando Carbine in .45ACP by U.S. Armament Manufacturing Corp.

Background: The De Lisle Commando Carbine was a British firearm used during WWII that was designed with an integrated suppressor/silencer. The weapon was designed by William Godfray de Lisle, an engineer who worked for the British Air Ministry. It was used by British Commandos and the SOE (Special Operations Executive) operatives for clandestine operations. The suppressor, combined with its use of subsonic ammunition, made it extremely quiet in action; possibly one of the quietest firearms ever made.

U.S. Armament Manufacturing Corp. is currently producing a faithful reproduction of this seldom-seen WWII firearm. It is based upon the British Enfield SMLE No.1 MK 3 rifle, as were the originals. The bolt-action is modified for use with the .45 ACP cartridge and it uses a specially modified 1911-style magazine that holds eight rounds. Attention to detail is excellent, as is the craftsmanship. Production is scheduled for only 200 total units, so get yours what they are available. I have four available for sale. They are new, in the box; test fired by the Manufacturer only. The price is $6399.00 + S/I to your Dealer.
