M60 bolt lug stoning guide?

Recommended Posts

I believe Aaron at Beltfeds.com used to have a Youtube guide on this but it's down. Can anyone provide guidance on the tools and procedures used to stone worn (not chipped) M60 bolts?

Pictured is my most used bolt, starting to deform a bit and its leaving just a hair of extra wear on the barrel extension. I'd like to get the burrs out and reduce wear early. Also curious to hear other users opinions on how advanced this wear is and any other info. I love to learn. Thanks.

FWIW you can reduce the wear by loading a blank, either live or spent it doesn't matter, as the last round in every belt.  It reduces the bolt impact on the trunnion and barrel extension

I do that, but would still like to have the knowledge.
