Seems that Federal law would still control - that is, you have to get a Form 1 etc for an SBR or SBS. Still, every little legislative win is good. StrangeRanger Posted May 28 Report Share Posted May 28 This may be in relation to the proposed SHORT Act which in the unlikely event of its passage would remove SBRs and SBSs from the Registry. Since the current owners would no longer be protected by federal law some states will immediately outlaw them and others like Texas will declare them legal.
