New S&W76 / MK760 Sear and Trigger Bar

Recommended Posts

I’m at the tail end of testing my new sears and new trigger bars (solid one piece) for the S&W76 / MK760 subs.  These should be available in a few weeks on my website  https://navgunner.com/navgunner-llc .

These are precision manufactured from steel alloy (with proper heat treat). Quality parts are expensive to produce so expect these to cost $125 each.

I would really like to have found an alternative solution to the rivets (the trigger bar to trigger & the trigger to lower receiver) but I haven’t been able to find an alternate solution that I’m happy with so I’m sticking with rivets. That being said, I’m happy to provide a service to install a new sear, new sear spring, new one-piece trigger bar and new rivets for an extra $150 (this includes USPS Priority shipping back to the customer).  You buy the parts for me on my website, check the “I want the service” tab and send me your lower.  That’s basically a complete rebuild of your lower for about $400.

what are your thoughts?

Respectfully,
NAV

Having cobbled together some of these critical 76/760 parts over the past couple of years, I can say this with absolute certainty: Nobody (and I mean nobody) is going to find a better deal than this.

You, sir, are a Godsend to the NFA Community.

I’m definitely in for one.  I’ll see if my buddy is interested.  Any chance of selling the rivets as well?  Thanks for making these parts available!

It’s best if the rivets are made to fit to each individual lower so I’m reluctant to offer the rivers by themselves.

The trigger to lower receiver rivet can be replaced by a grooved pin made from #26 drill rod held by a pair of McMaster -Carr #94981A130 retaining rings or by a headed pin turned from 1/4 drill rod and one retaining ring.  PM me your email and I'll send you my drawing

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm in for one. Scott Andrey went through my lower a few years ago and gun still runs well so these parts will go on the shelf for whenever needed.

I'd be interested in pins with c-clips as Strangers get describes, but have some experience with rivets too so if you decide to include I'd be okay with that too.

The rivets look like hollow type.......that the case?

John

The rivets that I make are drilled on one side to help aid the end to flare outwards, this is very similar to the original.

I’m only making rivets for customers that want me overhaul their lower.  Another option for the install is John Andrewski (he does very good work).

I have no intention of making e-clipped pins because I have concerns as it relates to fitment and safety.
