Syncytium1 Posted May 24, 2025 Report Share Posted May 24, 2025 (edited) SOLD Up for sale or trade is a factory MP5SD in A3 configuration with HK MP5SD suppressor and a B&T MP5SD suppressor. I recently received documentation from the ATF that both the gun and the HK SD can are unrestricted. About the gun: -When I bought the gun a couple of years ago, it was described as a PD gun that was worn, but not totally beat to $%!^&. I think that was a fair assessment. I decided to leave the gun in its original condition and leave it up to the buyer to decide whether to refinish it and where to do so. -There are scratches and finish wear all over the gun. The worst cosmetic damage is under the handguard. Additionally, the slots under the handguard are a little bent, probably from someone trying to pry off the handguard with a screwdriver and accidentally getting under the metal. This is not noticeable with the handguard on, but it is there. -It is an IF date code gun and has an IF date code bolt and an IE date code carrier. The bolt and carrier were in the gun when I got them. Are they original? I don't know. -Interesting piece of trivia about the gun: It was imported and registered 4/1/86, making it on the books right before the Hughes amendment was passed. From a collector's standpoint, I think it is pretty interesting to consider this gun just made it under the wire in '86 then met criteria to be reclassified as transferable. -I have run about 500-600 rounds through the gun since I've owned it, all with the B&T can. It ran without a hiccup. I have not fired it with the HK can. -I will include the B&T can with the gun (I won't need it anymore.) -I have attached a redacted copy of the ATF's response to my query about the transferable status of the gun. I will give the buyer the original, unredacted documents. -I will entertain trades/partial trades for quality NFA items (presample or transferable). I'm mainly into WW2 era subguns (I'm especially looking for a Czech ZK383.) That said, I'll consider about anything. -Price for everything is $80K shipped SPF. Taking into consideration the condition of the gun, I priced it lower than any other one I've seen come up for sale. The gun and both cans are in my inventory and will transfer on Form 3s.
