Max Walker Posted May 4 Report Share Posted May 4 (edited) Excellent condition Springfield Armory SAR-48 Match This FAL style semi auto rifle was made by IMBEL in Brazil and imported by Springfield Armory, Inc. from 1985-1989. The gun is marked “ Springfield Armory, Geneseo IL, USA” and "1005-SA-48-MATCH" on the right side of the receiver. It is marked “SAR-48 7.62mm ” on the left side. The 21" standard contour match barrel has a very bright bore with excellent rifling, and retains the original flash hider. The short stroke gas piston system has an adjustable gas block which allows the shooter to adjust for different ammunition and weather conditions. These are some of the finest FALs ever made behind the Belgium made guns. Plenty of history and reviews online to support that.
