It was purchased from the museum as a transferable machine gun. It is NOT a "flipped" Pre-May or conversion. This is a factory transferable that was brought into the country prior to 1968 as a transferable. This is the "Holy Grail" of HK G3's for the collector. It is a beautiful gun with it's original finish in excellent condition. The machine gun comes with a binder containing documents provided in response to FOIA request that show importation and transfers of the gun.
