MN1919 Posted March 27 Report Share Posted March 27 (edited) Have a 1983 HK G3 SG1, has Claw Scope mount, no Scope. Gun is not a conversion but a factory Machinegun. Gun is in excellent condition, comes with HK box, mags. Transit case is in great shape but has one latch that needs spring fixed. Also included a HK 22 conversion. The gun is fully transferable and ready to transfer on form 3 or 4 in FL. MN1919 Posted March 27 Author Report Share Posted March 27 To answer some questions. The receiver is marked HKG3 and .308. Heckler and Koch and G3SG1 on ATF paperwork and in online inventory, H&K stated the serial number belonged to SG1 and it was traded in by LAPD in late 90's, there are no PD markings on the gun. If you read the post I said it stamped "HKG3". I will add a pic of the other side minus SN. Since run ins with scammers I don't post my tel#, FFL/SOT, or serial numbers on this public forum. A factory gun, potentially transferable, will have a serial starting with 17(letter) or 18(letter) with a converted semi typically starting with the letter A with no leading digits. I thought this was a great deal, gun looks great, literally one one scratch on the plastic forward grip, and the rub under the selector. HK may have refinished it when they took it back in trade from the Police dept. I am now thinking I might have got a better response had I priced it higher. G3SG1 and G3FS both came in the OD green wooden transport cases, usually with Zeiss or Hensoldt optics, leather sling, steel mags, flex cleaning rod and paperwork. All of the guns I have encountered appear to have come out of LE agencies. The guns are identical except for markings. Set trigger packs are unique to these guns.
