Simply date your letter, send in a list with a serial number column, Manufacturer column and Model column. Write: "I am inquiring as to the NFRTR Registration status and possible restriction changes for the following NFA Firearms." Thank them, sign letter, include your title, your FFL name, your FFL#, EIN SOT# Address, City, State, Zip and phone number. I sent a letter in on Nov 21, 24 and received a response third week of Feb 25. There were Firearms on my list that were "white", which I included in my request, which did not turn out to be reclassified as transferable. Hope this helps.
