Hey gents, looking to sell this original C&R WWII Japanese Type 99 light machine gun. Machine gun was made at the Kokura1 factory in January of ´43. Machine gun comes as seen with all matching numbers. Sadly, the bolt, op-rod, backstop, and backstop pin are missing, but can be found. One of the bipod leg springs is missing a little lever in order to take down the left side of the bipod, but still can be used with a punch. This gun is unique too as this at one point a Imperial Japanese metal star insignia was pressed into the left side of the stock!  This gun does have some history with it and was brought home by Jack Stanelli of the 1232nd Engineers Battalion. He voulenteered for the military in 1941, and he was 14 years old when he went off to war, as he lied about his age. He was in the Philippines, battle of Guam and also at the occupation of Japan, where he was one of the first soldiers to visit the Hiroshima bombing. Gun was never dewatted, and barrel is fine with no issues. Gun does come with one reproduction magazine. Really cool all matching Type 99 light machine gun. $14,500 plus shipping. More pucture can be sent if one desires.

On a Form 3 in my inventory.
