faacop
I picked up this PreMay in 1991 when I was a class three dealer on a form three. I got it from Charlie Allan University gun and pawn. He got it from a law-enforcement dealer. And my understanding it came out of an Orlando Police Department. It ran flawless until 2021 when somehow the barrel got bulged at the end and I couldn’t hit the side of a barn. Terry Dyer went through the gun, installed an RMC barrel, and gave me the OD green paint job. Gun sat in my safe until October 2024 when I took an MP5 class with tactical firearms Academy and ran 300+ rounds through it with zero problems. I’m retired and would rather have a class C motorhome at this point in my life. So no trades unless if you have a nice clean class C motorhome. I did a little research on all the parts and the gun and I cannot replace it for less than 33K. But the interesting thing is will it come back on a form 4, as transferable now? And if it does, is the Gun now worth 70 K? I have about a year to sell this gun. I’m looking for that collector that wants to keep it for 30+ years like me. So with that said I am asking 45K for everything. Not breaking it up it all goes together. Other than an optic there is nothing you would need. I understand I could do a FOIA or try to transfer it to myself on a Form 4 to see if it comes back transferable. I just don’t have the time to deal with it. Of course I could wait about 15 years, I would be 85 and it would probably be worth over 100k or more based on what I paid in 1991 and value today. Can send more photos and info for any serious inquiries. Thanks for looking.

faacop
I am going to wait for a reply from NFA to determine the registration status of this MP5 and then adjust the price.
