Yes, you are reading that correctly. NFA Branch has confirmed via FOIA Request that this MP5 S/N is transferable to an individual on a Form 4. $63k Factory Heckler & Koch, registered as "MP5-A3", mfg 1983, imported 1984 for a gvt agency. ID date code (1983), the A3 stock, bolt carrier and bolt head are all the same. The 4 position lower is Genuine HK, see pic. I did put a M-Lock forend on it along with a B&T low profile rail, ARMS 17 throw lever and a new Aim Point CompM2. I was going to keep this one “forever” however with the news that an individual can now own this Dealer Sample Factory MP5. I think it is a good time to let it go! The internals are really nice, bolt gap, H-buffer, all good. The external condition is what I like in a great shooter, looks good to show it off but not so pristine that you don’t want to take it to the range and have some fun. If you are an individual wanting to get that Factory MP5 you always wanted, now is the time. A copy of the NFA/ATF FOIA request and Response will be provided with the sale, along with some small parts (pins, rollers, springs) to keep it running smooth for years to come.
