60mm M57 mortar kit, as shown in the video below, is available for $8500+shipping. This includes the hard case, as well as everything in the case (no charges or expendables are included). I have the same kit available with U.S. parts (instead of the M57 Yugoslavian) for $9500+shipping. Everything is in excellent condition. These are some of the least expensive destructive devices that you can get, cheapest to shoot, as well as being extremely fun to shoot..........especially when using the TRUMP ammunition that is available. T.R.U.M.P. = Training Re-Usable Mortar Projectile

  • 60mm M57 Yugo Mortar Kit: $8500
  • 60mm M2 U.S. Mortar Kit: $9500
  • 60mm P47 TRUMP round: $450 per round
  • 60mm P47 TRUMP rounds: $2995 for 8 round can (~17% discount) and comes with transport/storage can and fuze wrench

Provided you don't lose the rounds when firing, you can fire/recover/clean/re-fire the same round many dozens of times. We fired one round over 150 times and never broke or damaged the round (this will depend on what kind of soil the rounds are impacting.). They are extremely durable and well made (machined from hardened steel and stainless steel). The rounds use four different expendables per shot: one ignition charge, four dud plugs, one obturating ring, and one spotting charge. When the expendables are purchased in 100 shot quantities, the cost per firing is $8.80, which is substantially cheaper than most destructive devices.........and you can use the same round again and again and again, etc, etc.

Here is the cost breakdown on the expendables:

  • Ignition charges: $70 per box of 25 blanks
  • Obturating rings: $200 per sleeve of 100 rings (not required for firing, but does greatly increase accuracy, as well as provide a 100% increase in range)
  • Dud-plugs: $100 for a quantity of 400 plugs (4 plugs are used per shot, and must be used if a spotting charge is used in the fuze)
  • Spotting charge: $79 per box of 25 blanks

Using our mortars and components, you should expect the following performance:

  • 60° barrel elevation without obturating rings: 123 yards
  • 60° barrel elevation with obturating rings: 242 yards
  • 45° barrel elevation with obturating rings: 320 yards
  • As is the case with all mortars, you can greatly increase/decrease the mortars range by elevating/depressing the barrel assembly using the bipod

The TRUMP ammunition is only available to qualified buyers (you must have an ATF approved Form 1, Form 2, or Form 4). The TRUMP rounds are ammunition for a destructive device, but the rounds are NOT destructive devices in-and-of-themselves. They do NOT require a $200 registration/tax stamp per round (like the one-time registration of the mortar launcher does). After purchase of the mortar kit, the cup (which is the serialized part) gets shipped to your FFL as a Title 1 firearm. The kit gets shipped directly to you, if you wish, or it can be shipped to your dealer as well. Using the information off the cup, and other info provided by me, you fill out an ATF Form 1 and submit to ATF, along with your $200 tax payment for making a destructive device. After ATF approves the Form 1, you send a copy of the approved Form 1 to me, and the barrel is shipped directly to you. The receiver screws onto the barrel in about 20 seconds, and now you have your ATF approved, live-fire, destructive device mortar.

UPS Ground insured shipping on the mortar kit runs around $200. Shipping on a single P47 TRUMP round runs $20. Shipping on a can of eight P47 TRUMP rounds runs $75.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, with no credit card fees charged.

Here is a video of the mortar kit, as well as the 60mm TRUMP rounds...............

agreed!  awesome!

Thanks guys, really appreciate it! In the crazy-expensive NFA world, mortars are economical, completely unique, and truly a blast to shoot. We've put a lot into mortar R&D over the past 10 years, so we're very excited to be bringing new things to the market that have never been done/offered before to civilians. Such as the modern U.S. Army/USMC 60mm M224 trigger-fired mortar............
