Has emailed me twice in three months.

I questioned someone asbto the availability of a grease gun but it had sold.

He emailed that he had a nice C&R at just $17000.00 and had a pawnshop in Indiana. He wanted all cash up front and said I could do a Walmart m.o.

Pictures came from someone else's ad that had sold on another site, so I Iasked for a copy of the form 4 so I could verify the C&R status and he came back that he was going into surgery and needed money asap for that and would take half down on a payment plan and when I got him the rest he'd send me paper.

Crook, crook, crook,? I believe so.

He contacted me by email today again  regarding an inquiry I made to an ad for Christie Reising Mags....he noticed they had sold but had some he didn't need so offered them to me ...seven and at just $90 each. And the picture was stolen from the very ad just about a week ago on Sturm that I had inquired to and those were sold!

Now instead of Indiana he said he's in North Carolina ......

Note: I tried to look up Zarubathe pawn in Indiana and found nothing.

Do not send this guy any money you don't want to lose!

I posted the question in this add and this scammer PMed me after I had PMed Midwest Distributors.....when I got the PM notification in my email I just hit the link and assumed it was a response from Midwest Distributors......the mere fact that they were asking for payment via paypal friends/family and to a German email address was what made the light come on for me.

At first I didn't catch that the reply to my PM was not from Midwest Distributors

I have a WTB add up and was contacted by user marcus120 that christopher.s7867@gmail.com has one for sell.  "Christopher Smith" returned my email with a picture and price. The first thing I thought odd  was he was responding instantly and every response he gave had,  " let me know if you are still interested."  So it was a little pushy.  I asked for his contact information and he provided:

Got one too from falfiles email normanmag@protonmail.com saying Norman can help me out but he didn't say what it was in regards too.. guy is obviously spamming everyone's WTB ads 

 

i also got a email from "Samuel jolly... About another thing I wanted to buy I had a replied to someone else's WTB thread and he emailed me from that thread...

 

he was also reported on another forum.

New scammer.. Samuel and Tonya.

Claiming to need to sell whatever unrealistic deal they have "for cancer reasons... You'd think even if that was the case.. you continue to shoot your stuff up until you physically couldn't... Then pass it on to your kids.. this isn't a 2008 Honda Civic..

 

They seem to be replying to people who post in other peoples WTS threads.. that's why it confused me at first at how they had knew I was looking for said item.. I'm sure they are also replying to people making WTB ads as well..

These people are scum and it makes me sad to see this and the storys they try to use cancer to steal from people.. pretty slimey..

Anyway I hope this maybe saves someone a few bucks or some greif.. I would have just linked the thread from sigforum but that sounds like it might be kinda in a grey area with rules.. considering why the link would be posted so I just grabbed the substance from there.. other emails they use ect.. I was personally messaged by both of these people though.. Norman and the Samuel/Tonya character..

I asked for photos and got the same lengthy "for sale" email listed a few posts above.

 

BTW - maybe the operators of this site could restrict private messages to those who have been members for 6 months, or pay a token fee from a verified paypal account, to cut down on the scams.  I know I am new to this site but I am active on other buy/sell/trade sites that use this tactic and it helps.

Does anyone have any experience with daviswalter ? I posted on a soutac post and didn't verify that he was associated with them. My fault I know. Looking at post history there is 0. I'm fairly certain I was scammed after receiving an email with more firearms at too-low prices. 

The responses back and forth haven't seemed suspect at all until I got that email. He also seems to be pretty responsive via email.

WTB section seem to just be a trolling ground for scammers. I get an email from no post accounts sending me to another email contact every time I post a WTB. Fist one is a confirmed Scam attempting to use the real FFL of Avery outdoors. Contacted Avery and confirmed the scam. Lets get these accounts closed out:

I have for sale a like new Rock River Arms LAR-9 carbine.  It has had

maybe 10-15 rounds through it since new.  Comes with the factory 10rd

mag, backup sights, and a factory case.

HK 41 1974 Package $2000

This is a rare HK41. I've owned a number of these over the years and

this is a nice one. This is the predecessor to the HK91 and was

brought in for 2 years, 1966 and 1974. This is a 1974 version and has

a shiny black finish which was standard for them. This one has the

factory/matching retractable stock, fixed stock, web sling, carry

handle and port buffer (these are removable). It also has the factory

HK41 manual that was shipped with these (these run 100-150 dollars

just themselves). I am including 6 magazines but if I can fit more

into the box I will.

said he had a post sample, I asked what form it's on, they said "qualified class 2"

Update, he read this post and sent me via DM a couple pictures of a darker skinned woman's exposed undercarriage. Not sure if it's supposed to offend me but I'll take what I can get

Update:  the guy sent me (photoshopped) photos of the form 3, FFL and SOT.  Also a photoshopped picture of the mini-uzi with a pice of paper (next to it, not beneath it) with my name and the date on it.  Be careful out there.  I should report this to the ATF, although all I have is a fraudulent email address.  Please don't point out all the mistakes on the forms, no need to help this person.

I read through this and it didn’t surprise me that I received some of the same emails from the same people the last few years.   This is getting out of control.  I’m pretty sure every ffl/sot out there has no problem sending payment directly to the name and address on the license.  All licenses should be verified too.   I’ve found that every legit person on this business has no problem sharing a phone number and ffl and having a conversation with you.  I recently posted a wtb ad for a 1919 and was sent a pm offering a semi auto.  I replied I was looking for a transferable and suddenly he has one of those too.  I asked a few questions and he never replied again.  I’m sure they troll the wtb forum.  It’s almost guaranteed you’ll be contacted by a scammer if you post an email there.  Everyone just be careful and follow your instinct.

That is a scam using my information with a fake email address. Do not respond to this scammer. The scammer uses a similar email address that is not a Gmail account.
When I sell or buy NFA items I provide my actual phone number and address with my Gmail email address so payment can be mailed to us in Missouri. The scammer hacked another dealers account and contacted me on a purchase and got my FFL and SOT.

Someone posing as me is offering a Mac 10 and possibly a  Krink.  He has copies of my FFL and SOT, and is somehow using my gmail account.  I received a call from a potential buyer in NV telling me he almost fell for it and was about to wire the money for the MAC.  He was even corresponding with the scammer using my gmail address, which baffles me.  I have nothing listed for sale right now, and no Mac or Krink available.

Tomer1985 using the same location as Andrew1182 contacted me wanting to sell two stocks. Seemed like a scam so I searched and found this. He is using the email address dsdstandard@yandex.com and says his name is Scott Dean. I've asked for additional verification of his possession of said stocks but do not expect to hear back. If I have any further contact with him I'll post it here.

Guy contacted me just to brag that he will never be found. If I think so come to India and   Find me! Nice.
