Sid Post
I have a semi-auto Mini Uzi today so, I could work with a registered bolt however, I would prefer a full-auto SMG. I don't see these on the market much and wonder about real availability and pricing for a transferable version. I tend to watch Uzi Talk and HK Pro but, I'm not convinced those are real sources with "fair market values" either. As we approach Tax season, I want to be in a position to buy something and need to know how much to set aside to be ready to commit if the right option turns up. TIA, Sid
Thumpy
You can’t run a full size bolt in a mini. mini uzis are definitely more expensive there are less of them. I’d say your in for around 26-32 for a transferable mini currently

The registered bolts compatible with the Mini-Uzi come with and without feet which could let them run on an Uzi pistol too. The Mini's I believe will run with either option but, the pistol requires the bolt with "feet" on it.
Christof Stehpinkler
You can buy a transferable full-size bolt, send it along with your semi-auto mini Uzi to Andrew Kalipolitis in New Hampshire, and he will trim the bolt down to mini size and fit it to your gun. It is also usable in a micro, as well as a full-size Uzi with a modified top cover. It's a damned clever modification. https://www.instagram.com/p/DAWr9gsS43q/?img_index=1

Sid Post
What's a fair price in today's market for a full-size registered bolt? THANKS! Having one cut down for a Mini-Uzi and Uzi pistol sounds like a good option to me for a lot less than a registered Mini-Uzi.

I haven't looked in depth lately but I'm guessing you might find one here for $15-17k, maybe less if we go into a recession and people are feeling financially stressed. Cash is king. There's a bolt gun on Gun Joker right now for $17,500, with a Norinco host.
Frank Iannamico
There has been quite a few UZIs sold at Morphy's auctions, some original factory subguns online catalog https://issuu.com/morphyauctions/docs/flipdoc_dec_11-13_firearms?fr=sMzU0MzY0OTU4MTA
Sid Post
Thanks! That's a new auction house for me and it looks pretty good though, the 20% Buyer's fee is pretty high for a ~$30K item.

If the item does not meet the reserve, you can call and offer a "final price" which is the total you are willing to pay. Morphy's will discuss with the seller, and will reduce their commission to make the sale, if possible.
