Aaron in Mohnton Pa
Wanted to share some photos of this one being it’s such a rare gun…. A really nice transferable M240 that we have in for inspection and repair… It is a DLO Side Plate gun built out on a brand new parts kit…. The gun never ran due to a multitude of issues... The main one being that the internal components would seize up in the receiver and lock to the rear every time you tried to fire it …… We got her all fixed up and running like a top … Video at the bottom of the test fire I did today. hkg3k
Thank you for posting this transferable M240B's story...BEAUTIFUL. The M240 became my "grail" beltfed, when I had the opportunity to handle / shoot one at a demo over 25 years ago. At that time, I don't think Doug (DLO) had yet to "find" his stash of transferable MAG58 / M240 sideplates and when he did some years later...they were offered at $75k IIRC. Too rich for my blood then...and certainly now. One can still hold out hope of winning the Power Ball though, right? It's said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and along those lines, I built up a couple transferable "faux M240B" setups on the 1919a4 platform to exercise a "near" M240B experience. Not the same for sure...but they'll do while I wait to win that Power Ball
