Relisted Due to health issue. To clear up any confusion, this is a brokered Firearm. The owner had a medical emergency and it was removed.  Things have corrected and all is well. Sorry for any concern.

FN FNC. Development of Fabrique Nationale (FN) Carabine (FNC) began in 1963 as 5.56x45mm/.223 successor to Fusil Automatique Légère (FAL) chambered in 7.62x51mm/.308. Initially offered as modified FAL, Carabine Automatique Légère (CAL) with rotary bolt to replace tilting bolt and manufactured using stamped steel and castings over milled and forged steel for reduced cost and efficiency. CAL production was terminated in 1967, finding design too complex and expensive with poor performance. Replacing CAL, FNC was introduced in 1976, composed of stamped steel and milled aluminum receivers scissored together and assembled with two pushpins like AR15. Operation based on Kalashnikov uses long stroke gas piston and rotary bolt over SVT40 based short stroke gas piston and tilting bolt on FAL. Gas system offers standard and adverse settings with shutoff actuated by flip up rifle grenade sight. Recoil spring is housed within piston itself in opposition to Swiss Kalashnikov pattern SIG SG540 introduced in 1977. Barrel lengths include 18", 16", and 14" while 18" standard integrates grenade ring into compensator (pictured 14" barrel includes 18" muzzle device). Surrounding barrel, clamshell handguards with heatshield reflect Israeli FAL variants known as Ramot and Makleon. Contrary to push/pull engagement on FAL, folding stock operation uses sliding button actuator on FNC and likeness can be observed in differences between stamped and milled receiver folding stock variants of Valmet, latter of which reflect Galil replacement to Ramot and Makleon in 1972. Reciprocating charging handle incorporates spring-loaded sliding dust cover, later adopted on improved Galil ACE introduced in 2006.
