Aaron in Mohnton Pa
Just something to look at on a Monday.... A few photos of various transferable M60s that we have had pass through here (each photo is a different gun) for inspections and repair work. Rock Island Armory Guns, Saco Defense Guns, Erb Guns, and a few other smaller MFGs like Stemple. batcaveballistics
Very cool, Aaron. Thanks for posting. Do you know the root cause of the bolt you had to mill?
Aaron in Mohnton Pa
@batcaveballistics Case Rupture. Which then blows the extractor out of the pocket. The bolt then can not cam out of the barrel. See video below form our youube channel for more info. Aaron - Mohnton, Pa

rhouston8
i personally have had the broken case/extractor issue locking up my bolt - requiring milling of the bolt/op rod to free it up. fun . fun. it was after my 2cd belt thru the newly purchased gun. that was yrs ago. now all is good and i'm running an E6 kit on my 60
Aaron in Mohnton Pa
A few more from this past week. A Taylor MFG M60e4 and a MaRemont that we converted to Danish M60e6 …. A Ramo M2hb also that we repaired. The photo of the .50 is how it came in (with terribly done safety wire) … We redid all the wire correctly. har1690
It's just amazing to see the work/repairs Aaron performs on these rear guns. And just to think how back in the day when these guns were used and perhaps a jamb and the enlisted would just can the gun and get a replacement... Great lifesaving work Aaron!
