Tubegunner
The estate of Richard Winters (CPS.Co) is excited to announce the availability of an extremely rare Fazakerley Sterling L2A3. This one-of-a-kind specimen is brand new and complete with presentation box and accessories. Richard, along with the help of David Howroyd, a Works Director for Sterling and co-author of The Guns of Dagenham, was able to appreciate the significance of this unique variant. As with all the other collectible Sterlings built by Richard over the last 2 decades, this Fazakerley is held to the same exacting standards. CPS.Co has only produced one of these rare collectible guns. Fazakerley markings are illustrated on the charging handle, locking ring, trigger pack, front and rear sights, and magwell. A hallmark of the Fazakerley Sterlings, the finely checkered magazine catch is also present. ROF (Royal Ordnance Factory) Fazakerley produced only 164,000 Sterlings from 1956 to 1960 of which none were sold commercially. These were all allocated for the British military and were provided with the smooth black finish. All Fazakerley parts are interchangeable with other L2A3 and Mk4 parts. Any of the CPS.Co built guns will accept factory Sterling L2A3 and MK4 parts. There are no proprietary parts unlike others on the market. Our Sterlings are built from virgin DLO tubes and registered with the NTFB as model L2A3. They have the correct charging handle slot which was milled by CPS.Co during manufacture. You can learn more about the Fazakerley guns in the book The Guns of Dagenham by Laidler and Howroyd. A true reference for all Sterling, Lanchester and Patchett collectors to have, we are including a signed copy by the authors. The book details the history, manufacturing and trials of the Sterlings and much more. The Fazakerley Sterling is available for $24,500 and will eform 3 to your dealer immediately after payment is received. Now is the time to acquire this truly unique piece of history. Interesting trades of similar value and quality will be considered.
