atmow
This is a transferable AKS-74U in 5.45x39 with the Norinco 56S-1 receiver originally registered by Special Weapons Co. of Wilmington, NC. The Krinkov conversion by InRange in 2014 used a matching numbers parts kit, with matching numbers on the bolt, bolt carrier, gas tube, selector, and top cover. Based on my research of the markings on the parts, this is a Russian (likely Tula) parts kit. InRange also expertly engraved Cyrillic selector markings. Also included is a Midwest Industries handguard, extra gas tube, optic, and two plum Russian magazines. It runs flawlessly and the barrel rifling is strong. The finish wear is from the parts kit not being refinished with the conversion. No other markings on it. It would look like a new Russian gun if completely refinished. I estimate fewer than 1000 rounds through the gun since the conversion, with no full auto magazine dumps. Sold pending funds. $40,000 firm. Price includes first tax stamp to your dealer—this will transfer on a tax paid Form 4 (my two most recent transfers to dealers took 45 days). 100% payment required to start transfer. No trades. References available on request. More photos available to serious inquiries. Edited November 30, 2024 by atmow Sold
atmow
Lowered price and confirmed with Troy Sellers that InRange did the conversion. For comparison, Morphy Auctions just sold a 7.62 Krinkov for $49,200.
