It can be readily installed on any standard M1/M2 carbine. It has the Iver Johnson original front sight that can be used in place of a traditional barrel band. This is very useful if you want to leverage a shorter barrel (such as an Advisor build or if you want a threaded barrel). If not, this stock can still use a regular barrel band.
