Bwana
Sold pending funds. Pre-86 dealer sample Reising Model 50. This sub-machinegun does not show as restricted on my online inventory (not yellow in Form 3 view) and the online system lets me populate a Form 4 with this gun. Do I think that it is transferable? I have no idea as I have NOT checked with the ATF. I am leaning "probably not" based only on online posts from other dealer efforts. But I honestly do not know. I got this one almost a year ago from an estate. Paperwork has the red "Limited to Use as Sales Sample" stamp. The gun is marked with importer info: "Inter American" and "Sac To, CA". My online inventory shows H&R as the manufacturer (versus other pre-samples that show as "Imported NFA Firearm"). The gun is being sold as a SOT dealer sample only. It is a keeper when you give up your SOT (no law letter as it is not a post sample). If it turns out to be transferable, then good for you! All transfers from my inventory will go to an SOT. I am not doing any Form 4 transfers to individuals to check if it is transferable. You can buy it and try your luck, but your dealer will have to do the Form 4 to you. At that point the gun is yours either way... Your dealer will have the gun in about a week after payment is received. This gun runs great with the installed Uzi magwell adaptor. There was not a single hiccup when it was tested with at least 10 mags of ammo. It uses ProMag 22-rd 45 cal mags and comes with 4 of these mags. The gun does not come with any factory mags, but it will come with the original Reising magwell. Gun condition is as shown in the pictures. Known issues include a missing rear sling swivel, it was previously tapped on top of the receiver (assume for scope of some type - currently has screws in place), and it is missing a fin on the compensator. The Reising will transfer on a very quick eform 3 to an active SOT. Shipping will be paid by Buyer (actual shipping costs). Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for the boards, and thanks for looking! Edited July 5, 2024 by Bwana SPF
