Offered for sale here is an original complete trigger group for the Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun in 9mm (9X19) caliber. 

Safety/selector is ambidextrous and the selections are 0, 1, or 2.  (Depicted as no bullet, one bullet, two bullets)

It is intended to go on an original German H&K MP5 SMG.  It is NOT an aftermarket manufactured housing "with German parts." 

 

It's all German H&K, obtained straight from the H&K factory importer in Virginia.

It was ordered as a replacement for a police department that wanted the option to swap out their full-auto trigger groups with 0,1,2 trigger groups, but by the time it arrived, they didn't want it anymore. 

My associate, from whom I got this piece, wrote the following:

"This is an original H&K Trigger Group, just as it came - on the gun - from H&K in Virginia to the PD.  It was removed from the gun when the PD decided they wanted a different trigger group - and, I believe, before the gun was ever even fired - and then returned to the H&K LE Dealer who had placed the original order for the PD's new MP5's.  I believe this Trigger Group is new and unfired, but I cannot say that with 100% certainty ..... maybe only 99% certainty.  AFAIK, it has not been worked on, tinkered with, or rebuilt in any manner; there would have been no reason for the PD to do so.  If the release lever is not the 'current style,' that might not be a surprise; this Trigger Group 'sat on the shelf' of the [former] HK Dealer for over 20 years, before coming up for sale.  Unknown if it has a 'burst hammer spring,' and not going to take it apart in an attempt to find out.  (I wouldn't know what a burst hammer spring looked like anyway, as compared to a 'regular' hammer spring.")  

There is a "3" stamped into the side of the hammer, visible in picture #4, especially if you copy and paste it and blow it up.

Whether this piece will go onto your clone, or after-market build is unknown to me and for you to find out.

It is up to you to know what is legal to install on what you have, but it's meant to go on a LEGAL full-auto H&K MP5 submachine gun.

This is NOT a serial-numbered part, and not a firearm or firearm receiver.  It is only a parts assembly and legal to own, but what you do with it may or may not be legal.  All NFA rules apply.
