Ken in VA
WW2 Pineapple grenade with a hang tag that says "Inspected & approved 6-Mar 45 Lt O'Brian Ordnance Officer 135th NCB (L.E.A.) and a Japanese Grenade with a tag that says "Inspected & approved 12-Mar 45 Lt J. R.O'Brian Ordnance Officer 135th NC Batt (L.E.A.) The fuses were removed, fired and the filler was dumped and brought back as trophies. The Japanese grenade smells like black powder. I think the unit is 135th Naval Construction Battalion which was on Tinian. Their unit book is at this link: https://www.history.navy.mil/content/dam/museums/Seabee/Cruisebooks/wwiicruisebooks/ncb-cruisebooks/135 NCB 1943-45.pdf https://imgur.com/TedoB7H https://imgur.com/7t4nQT8 https://imgur.com/1jZKqFp $900 + shipping, prefer electronic payment
