SOLD WTS: Thompson SMG 1928 dummy receiver

I bought this here from a respected member a few years ago, and finally decided I'm never going to do anything with it. I'm not a TSMG guy, so I don't know much about this item. Most of the description below is from the original ad.

For sale is a Thompson 1928 'display' receiver. Accurately engraved, machined and blued as seen in the pics. You can add your  real Thompson parts (lower, handguard and barrel) to create a non-firing display piece. Internal parts cannot be inserted, as it's a solid block of
aluminum. Also, will have to either buy a dummy barrel, or machine the receiver to accept a real barrel (enlarge the
channel) for this to easily accept a real barrel.
