This is the model 723 as advised by a board member, which was the predecessor to the modern M4 carbine. It has a factory staked vinyl acetate collapsible stock along with a factory 14.5" barell. Kind of a rare piece in that it doesn't have the 16 or 20" barrel like most other A2's. Notice the left over "A1" upper with teardrop forward assist. It is marked "SAFE-SEMI-BURST. It has full auto internals currently but the original fire control group is included along with it. This one is supposedly a two owner gun. The same owner since 1993. It is super clean and comes with what is left of the original numbered box and original magazine and cleaning kit. The box and papers were stored separately in an attic and a mouse got into it and ate a little bit of the original papers. It is currently in Kentucky on a form 4. I will pay the transfer and shipping to your FFL and handle all of the paperwork on this end. If you have any questions or would like other pictures please let me know. You will not be disappointed with this one. Form 4's to a dealer have been running about 30-45 days and eform 4's have been about the same in my recent experience.
