We also make a Short .308 cal version of the PE57. Super nice rifle. We have 4 of these ready for sale Troy

TTE
To make the PE57 receivers the right way takes lots of time, talent and experience . we have 40hrs in to building each receiver. For example It takes us less than 5 hrs to build a AR70/90 or SAR80 receiver. Troy
sprat
if not mistaken this gentleman Troy can be found on Weaponsguild, I have a DSA 308 barrel, I will trade for one of your prototype Sig 551 receiver blanks this is not an easy build, nice work Troy. I had both Estes and the wizard, work on my PE 57 build before we welded her up
TTE
Sprat we decided not to make the sig 550 receiver dies. Why? Because SANs is importing all the 550’s anyone will ever need. Original Pre ban Sig 550’s are worth 1/2 of what they were going for 8 years ago. As for DSA barrel it is a lot more work to make these shortys. The only reason we made them is because we were having trouble finding 7.5 Swiss barrels. But the pe57 shorty in .308 is by far a better rifle than the full size rifle for shooting and hunting. 20” barrel instead of 24” barrel. Makes a big difference in handling it. sprat
Troy I bought the 308 for that very reason. Tony on the guild cut down his shroud, I was lucky I found a 7.5 swiss barrel here many years back may still consider a spare shoud to cut down see my build on the guild Good luck
