This is one of a special run of 200 Mini Edition pistols produced in the Colt Custom Shop. Colts Custom Shop produced this 05870 Gold Cup model in blue, and one in Nickel. Also produced were the std. 1911 in blue and nickel. Only 50 pistols of each type exist I believe! The new Custom Shop Enhancements include the checkered mainspring housing, ambi safety, beveled mag well, wide grip safety, and more.
