Funtogun Posted June 22, 2023 Report Share Posted June 22, 2023 (edited) This is an Extremely Rare Korean War Era Chinese produced Type 50 , which was a licensed copy of the Soviet PPSh-41 with small mechanical revisions. The Type 50 started production in 1950 and fires the Soviet 7.62x25mm Tokarev sub machine gun or pistol round. The Type 50 fires from a 35rd box magazine as well as the 71rd drum magazine. It has a select fire switch just in front of the trigger for semiautomatic and continuous fire modes. This one has Chinese characters above and beside the “626” stamped on top of the receiver we presume it is the model and/or manufacturer, below it is the serial number. The finish is in great condition as is the wood stock. The stock has a place for cleaning a kit but it is missing and only the a screwdriver tool is inside. It comes with twenty ( 20 ) 35rd stick magazines and four ( 4 ) 71rd drum magazines. Don’t let this opportunity to own a real piece of Korean War History!
