BigBoy99
M-14, Caliber 7.62x51mm, Serial No. FA00257. This M-14 was built by Smith Enterprises into a selective fire weapon by using one of their semi-auto receivers and is one of the finest Non-GI factory original M14 ever manufactured. This is one of 176 Forged Selective-Fire Receivers which were manufactured by Ron Smith and his father at Smith Enterprises prior to May 19, 1986. The full auto M14s were interspersed among the semi-auto production so there is no serial number range for the full auto M-14s. All U.S. military parts were used in the construction of this rifle. The bolt is made by TRW and the barrel is a Winchester. The correct M2 bipod has been placed on the gun. The bore is shiny and gun has 95% original finish and comes with a complete another U.S. military parts kit with a new barrel. The rifle has the selective fire E2 stock with correct muzzle brake and bipod. Three 20-rd. U.S. military magazines are included: one blued and two parkerized. There are three brand new, still in factory wrappers 30 rd. magazines. Butt trap tool kit and canvas sling are also included. Two US M-14 Canvas magazine pouches with parkerized magazines are included. U.S. Army manuals 9-1005-223-10 in included. The 400+ page book, “The Last Steel Warior” by Frank Iannamico is also included. Two spare original GI wooden stocks with metal parts are included. Asking $18K for this little beauty. dspdsp
Hello, Does the receiver have the word "forged" stamped on it? I think it will be stamped somewhere near the selector switch area in one of the slots on side of receiver.
dspdsp
"Forged usa" will be marked on receiver (under the disconnector bar) just forward of selector switch.
