Void_saltz
So I've continued my research on HK's. Seems like 88-89 were the only years that had the 1:7 twist barrels. Then the ban came of course. For those who own HKs how often can one see them online?
AGG
The following are the barrel markings and barrel twists that I have seen: 1987 (“IC V”)(1:12 twist) 1988/1989 (“IE WC”, “IE XC”)(1:12 twist) 1989 (“IE WC”)(1:12 twist) 1987 (“IH/178”)(1:7 twist) 1988 (“IH5W/178”, “II 1C/178”)(1:7 twist) Tony
Void_saltz
Wow so we really didn't get many huh? Shame. Know why HK went with the 1:12 models?
AGG
42 series (pinned flash hider/HK33 barrel < 16” starting in IH/1987 (originally made for HK33’s, assembled at the HK/UK facility in England, slow sales, the barrels were returned to Germany, shortened/removal of grenade-launcher ring, longer flash hider pinned to meet 16” barrel requirements/U.S., and installed on HK93’s). OhioBrett
Didn't some of the compliant models have 1-7"?
