pinball-1
Does the AFT process a Form 4 any quicker going to a C&R license? Or same wait time as a standard individual Form 4? I think I already know the answer to this, but doesn't seem to be a ton of info out there. Thanks!
Thumpy
Normally c&r takes more time.
Labanaktis
Why would it take more time for a C&R F4 transfer then a regular F4? The transfer is C&R FFL to C&R FFL. I have seen them go thru quicker.
mattnh
Could take longer because they have to verify it is c&r. Unclear if all the examiners are capable of checking this. There are pretty significant differences in experience between examiners from my interactions with them.
Labanaktis
The ones that I have dealt with were already transferred as C&R so maybe that’s why.
pinball-1
Interesting, thanks for the responses. I'll just do my next as an individual again.
m.miller0412
I just had one approved for a c&r DD took about 9 months. Also had one dissapproved back in January which was at 14 months, same deal c&r DD. So from my limited experience seems to be on par with non c&r form 4's. BigBoy99
The last few C^R transfers I've done, all have taken just about a year. One was a bit longer because they required pictures of the factory markings on the gun.
