SBR
I see a lot of M50s for sale but I rarely see any M55. Are they that much more rare or do people tend to hang on to them? Were there substantially more M50s made? What, roughly, is the going rate for them when they do come to market? I know the Corp used them on Guadalcanal but did no police departments use them? eMGunslinger
I've seen very few 55's in my time at this game. Bought and sold close to 100 M50's and I think I have seen three 55's and one of them is in my safe after looking off and on for many years. I think retail is somewhere in the 13-15k range now. Got Uzi
Model 55’s are a rare item as they saw a short service life and most ended up getting dumped over the sides of ships. That and few were made to begin with. With model 50’s coming up on $10k, I think you are undervaluing the M55. I have one coming and it’s a near perfect example, and I can tell you that I wouldn’t sell it for less that $18k-$20k if I were to sell it at all. They are just that rare and cool
Frank Iannamico
Model 50 Reisings were made up until 1957, the model 55 was discontinued early in World War II.
