Ken In VA.
Guys, I'm handling the paperwork for a M2HB that was last transferred in the 80's as a side plate only. The plate was built into a M2HB. Am I correct in thinking I now have to shown it as a complete gun and provide pictures to ATF of overall and barrel length as well as a overall picture showing the side plate serial number? Thanks Ken

Rex Tyson
I would transfer it exactly as the original paperwork says. Does it have lengths on there? Rex
pstidan
Yep, what ^^^he^^^ said. Don't change anything on the Form 1/3/4. Any changes will just slow the transfer down and possibly screw things up.
johnsonlmg41
Ditto. If they want pictures they will ask for them, until then, submit exactly what was submitted before and if it gets sent back for corrections follow the instructions. There is no "extra credit" for supplying info that is not asked for.
Labanaktis
I understand both sides to this but that’s the side I fall into as well.
